I finished the Berlin marathon! I ran it in 4 hours, 5 minutes. That's 6 minutes slower than the time I was hoping to run, but still 40+ minutes faster than my last race in Chicago.
The marathon was incredibly well organized; none of the crazy mess that the Tokyo marathon was. And the finish -- through the Brandenburg Gate -- was incredibly dramatic.
All in all, a good race, although since I didn't make my goal of under 3 hours, I'll probably have to run another one.
My GPS track is here. Pictures to come once I get them.
