What better way to transport a gaggle of toddlers than in a peach-colored cage on wheels? The young woman who was wheeling these five (six?) tykes around rolled them up to the intersection near our house, then apparently forgot something and dashed away.
It looks a bit cramped in there, honestly, but maybe it’s good training for living in a tiny Tokyo apartment. I like that the tot in the red, sitting down, seems to have a thoughtful, yet resigned, look on his face as he stares through the bars of his wheeled prison.
Don’t worry about the kiddies, though. Yukari explained that this sort of thing is “totally normal” in Japan, right before telling me that I shouldn’t post it on my blog.
