Jesus said that the kosher laws do not really matter . It is the pharisees who follow all the laws meticulously in order to get to heaven. jesus said that studiously following the laws does not matter if you do not love god in ur heart.
It is a jewish belief that shrimp are an abomination, not a christian one.
