Heard Starlight Mints on KCRW’s Morning Becomes Eclectic last week. Great Oklahoma band, currently opening for the Flaming Lips on their US tour.
The Mints live in that same alternative universe as The Sugarplastic, The Negro Problem and XTC. Y’know, that bizarro world where pop music doesn’t totally suck?
